10 Great Christmas Shopping Fairs in London & South East

There’s nothing like a Christmas fair to get you into the festive swing of things. Whether you like to buy your presents well in advance or prefer the pressure of Christmas close by, fairs are a great way to support small independent business whilst raising money for charity.

Amazon doesn’t need any more money and I always say ‘if you don’t use it, lose it’ so support that start up or independent whether it’s just acknowledging them with a hi when you walk passed their stand, taking one of their cards for future use or the best of all - buying something

I used to sell at fairs when I first started TLM so I’m extra appreciative of the effort goes into the planning, setting up, being on your feet all day, having to keep smiling and the exhausting end of day break down.

I’m on the committee of a few fairs too & I know the stress the organiser feels both for their charity they are raising for and the stalls that have paid to attend. They need foot traffic!

So if you have a local fair to you, ESPECIALLY if it is your school fair, make the effort to go and make a difference to a lot of people’s Christmas’s

Here are a few fairs I love and hope to attend…. CLICK ON THE FLIER FOR MORE INFORMATION!

The Daisy Trust kicks off the season in style. A one day fair packed to the rafters with upmarket brands. Worth the day trip and just no excuse if you live in FulhamThe Dummer Fair is an intrinsic part of Treloars fundraising and has been a loyal supporter for years. Taking over a huge indoor cricket centre, it’s well organised and a great place to pick up local produce too.

New but perfectly formed, I thoroughly enjoyed their summer one and have no doubt the Hay Barn will smash it again at Christmas

As I’m off the physical Fair circuit, I’m very grateful for the Wonderlist which is an online database of independent businesses who over these three days give a discount to their followers.

The Hampshire Medical Fair was a favourite of mine back in the day and I have no doubt they have gone from strength to strength making vital funds for much needed medical equipment

A huge fair in Glos frequented by all those in Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire - not to mention day trippers and those that stay the night from further afield!

Despite having never been, I have been told many a time Chelsea Physic Garden is a great fair - please report back if you go!

A beautifully curated online fair championing new brands and guest edited by celebrities. I’m thrilled to be part of The Glorious Edit this year so click below and sign up to hear when it goes live

If you are into country pursuits, this is not one to be missed! Wear your wellies though!

Run by the supersonic Natalia who owns a vintage and antiques business, she continues to support her children’s old school with this wonderfully curated fair in Chelsea Town Hall. I shall see you there as have so many friends participating - I have to (and want to) support! It’s hugely social too ;)

Do let me know if any other Christmas fairs or markets that I can add to this list, don’t want anyone to be left out!

I’ll do a school one next week 🥰
